An outdoor exhibition to accompany the Kunstlicht publication guest edited by Sofia Collette Ehrich and Amarens Eggeraat. In the exhibition and in the issue, we explore the connection between nostalgia and smells. Nostalgia (“a wistful or excessively sentimental yearning for return to or of some past period or irrecoverable condition”) is mostly being explored through audio-visual mediums, missing many of the ways that nostalgia can actually be felt. This is where smell can play a significant part.
